I have been working in the equine industry for over 10 years. I taught riding at Sandroyd School for 4 years and the Pony Club. I have organised and run my own pony camp and have been teaching at WSC for 5 years.

I have my own horse Calypso who I have done a bit of everything with.
I joined WSC over 30 years a go and they encouraged me to become an instructor and I’m still here 30 years later. You may also find me at Wylye Valley Pony Club.

My love of ponies is one of my earliest memories, I have been completely smitten all my life. We have three adorable ponies George (pictured above), Barnaby & Teddy. I worked with horses many years ago, prior to spending over 30 years in admin roles, so my job at WSC is like a dream come true - my best friend says I’ll be here until I retire!

I rode in WSC lessons for 11 years before becoming employed here as a part time groom. I took time off to complete my A-levels gaining AAB then returned to work here full time in 2023. During our closure period I've been working closely with my favourite pony Lucie, to help build up her confidence. I'm now about to embark on gaining my BHS stages. Rhea and I often help with planning events at WSC and we are known for our yard (and horse) decorating skills!

I've been riding at WSC for around 5 years, during which time, despite falling off her countless times, Tilly has become my favourite pony. Tilly & I have now been working together for coming up to 3 years. Liv & I spend loads of time with the ponies. We are known for throwing ourselves into helping with special events and taking loads and loads of pics of our favourite equines!

I started work in 1977 as an apprentice car mechanic until 1986. I then worked at Mars Drinks for 27 years. My family have owned a number of horses and ponies for many years supporting my children through pony club, Prince Phillip Cup Mounted Games, Eventing and Show Jumping.
